congrats sumiyia!

My scale is wrong so I cant tell how much I've lost in numbers but now I can SO tell. My stomach is MUCH flatter alhamdulillah and these new sweatpants I got from GapBody look amaaaaaazing alhamdulillah. I hope my mirror isnt lying to me.

speaking of lying mirrors... lol.. my roommates got this mirror that makes you look reeeeeally fit and toned.. hahaha.. i looked at myself in that mirror and felt so hot and confident.. and then i looked in a REAL mirror...

Must be the type of mirrors they use in dressing rooms at clothing stores. You buy stuff thinking you look decent and then come home and look fug in the same outfit.

This is week 4 of my exercise for a lifestyle change. I'm seeing results and it's motivating me to workout even more . Alhamdulilah.

hmmm i use the word fugly but i didnt get it here. Never heard of fug..

Oh and I hate mirrors They all tell u something different so how do you know what's real?

You're so cute - it's not an Islamica invention. You're probably just noticing it more.

So, I did a kickboxing class and I started doing it low-impact but by the end I was doing all the high-impact stuff and I think I irritated my achilles again. Blech.

fooz's wedding stuff is done, alh! now back to the workouts

i'ma start off with pure cardio until i get into a regular habit of working out (~3 weeks inshaAllah). i'm thinking 20 mins on the ellipitical (~250 cal) and then walking/running 2 miles (however long it takes me; i'll slowly try to go from walking more to running more).

every other day, i'll do some random other exercises for 20 mins, iA (ie, sit ups, push ups, squats, lunges, etc)

bring it!

So I've been on this low glycemic diet for about 2 weeks now and I don't know if it's because it's finals time (though I'm not particularly stressed) but for the past couple of days I've had next to no appetite. I'm not even really eating meals anymore. All my meals are really small and sometimes I just skip meals. I'm just not hungry.

Anyways, once finals are over I'm going to hit the gym

I saw this on tv.....put your scale in the kitchen next to the fridge, so that every time you decide to munch, you can look at the scale and remember your weight! Hopefully it will motivate you not to eat so you can control your diet and keep the extra pounds off!
