I don't feel like going to the gym, but I really, really should because I need to. There's a kickboxing class starting at 7:15, but I don't know if I want to do that. My other option is an hour on the elliptical, some weight machines and a cool down on the treadmill. I just don't know and don't feel like going .

Last night I managed to squeeze in a workout at 10 PM and I was on the treadmill for almost an hour. Tonight I'm gonna start with weight training, insh'Allah.

nice job you guys!

i just do half an hour on the elliptical and that really kicks my rear end!

the main thing i've been doing lately is working on my diet...it's hard, but it seems to be working. 10 pounds in the last 2 weeks i've lost!

I signed up for a yoga class (1 college credit ) and it started in early March... it's every Tuesday and Thursday for an hour. I never knew yoga could make a person so sore! Alhamdulillah it's good though because it gives me something i can do in my room at my apartment. My shoulders and stomach muscles get a huge workout.

When I actually do get time to go to the campus gym it's evening/dark and it's kinda far from where I live so I either walk or take the bus...plus ppl stare at my hijab and I just dont like the environment at the gym (so many guys and girls there together, many girls wearing very little ). So....I recently discovered the mini-gym in the student union which is like 1/4 mile from my apartment. My new love is the elliptical.

I've only been once but I hope I can start going at least 3 times per week starting tomorrow evening... inshallah.

So I've been working out now and changed my diet up again. I don't how much more "healthier" I could possibly get at this point frankly though, this better work...

I was exactly the same. I thought yoga was going to be a bunch of girls and poncy guys lying on mats. And it was. But it was bloody hard. I busted my knee doing yoga. Never went back.

1 hr on the elliptical and over 650 calories burned, Alhumdulillah .

Jelly: the elliptical is easy on the knees in comparison to the treadmill. I've never experienced any knee or ankle pain, Alhumdulillah.
