I jus did 20 stomach crunches :S Man I'm soo unfit

Rooms where I live are too small for the skipping rope, the only room big enough has a chandelier so the rope keeps hitting it or dads friends come n sit there n mash the room up

I bought a cross trainer but I hardly use it, if I do its only for 2 minutes. I'm a failure

after such a rich dinner last night (chicken parmesan with spaghetti meat sauce and brownie cheesecake) it's just cereal with skim milk 2x a day and steamed veggies for dinner tonight.
i really, really hate long periods of mindless cardio so i started doing high intensity interval training, it's awesome. i've lost so many inches, and the workouts go by so fast in comparison. the only thing is that at the end, i can barely move and can definitely "feel the burn" the next day. oh well. better than 45 minutes of spacing out on the treadmill.

exactly. On the days I did interval training I actually ate normally and still lost weight. awesome stuff. Nowadays I workout using the elliptical, bike, plus the treadmill
so i get a nice variety going. Im thinking of incorporating jump rope excercises too

assalamu alaykum

I remember the days when I exercised...I did around 3hrs of kickboxing a week...I think I need to go back to that, but the girls in the womens classes are quite frightening...and manly and really go for it...maybe I'll go running or something, but that's hard work... but I'm not really looking to be fit...I just want physical perfection!

My highest speed on the treadmill is now 5.7 and incline at 4.0 ..
20 mins of that and 13 mins on the elliptical, and 12 minutes on the bike

basically Ill go super fast for 3-4 minutes then slow down and go at regular speed for 3-4 minutes..then again
so say you walk for three miles..instead of walking 3 miles incorporate 1 minute runs into your routine

the key is to push yourself..

I was thinking of working out a few hours after iftar. It depends on how tired I am though. I might end up not working out during ramadan.

so i checked out the 'fitness center' at my new apt building. its very tiny...only one treadmill and one elliptical machine, plus some weight machines/free weights. the only good thing is that its open 24 hours a day and its right there so no excuses.

about working out in ramadan...i was thinking to go at night. i absolutely have to chew gum when i do cardio, its more important to me than water lol. weights i could probably do while fasting...but id probably wait and do it all at once
