so ive been reading a lot of different books on diet and exercise...and something ive found to be really interesting is the blood type diet. it parallels with this book i got written by one of the trainers from the biggest loser (jillian). she's got this test (40 questions long) which kinda tries to get a feel for the types of foods that your metabolism responds to best..slow, balanced or fast..
so you're either a slow oxidizer, meaning you process carbs slowly
or fast, meaning you process carbs FAST which isnt good because if you dont use up the carbs/sugar it turns into fat fast
and then there's balanced
then she has diet meal plans for all three types of oxidizers. and tips on what kind of protein and fat and carbs are best for each type
def one of the much more helpful books out there.
btw it's calling making the cut..there's another one called winning by losing. theyre for people with diff weight loss goals. so read up if you wanna invest.
back to the blood type diet. for myself i saw a huge parallel in the blood type diet recommendation and the oxidizer diet recommendation.. i dont know if that holds true for others..but i would be interested in finding out..so im gonna ask a few people i know to do both.
what im trying to figure out is if blood type has anything to do with the type of oxidizer you are or vice versa.
like i dont do well with carbs.. ive always always known this.. i feel disgusting and bloated if i eat just a little bit of sugar..and i cant focus etc. so im a fast oxidizer.
and fast oxidizers should take in more 'complex' proteins or protein that takes a while to break down because..or else they'll process that fast too. (or at least that's what im figuring..im still like struggling with the science of it all but that's what i get so far)
so complex proteins are like beef and organ meats..not my favorite in the least. but whatever. the point is, the blood diet type told me the same thing
now my mission is to read the blood type book more comprehensively and try to figure out if either of the two authors are cheating off of each other

most likely not..theyre probably somehow scientifically built off of each other.
i wish the other test was online so i could ask people on islamica to take it. maybe ill type it up? but it's like 40 questions..multiple choice. plus i dont want azher to have to kick me off for like copyright violations or whatev,.
anyway making the cut is a kick ass book. the work out plans are beyond awesome. and the diets are pretty cool too.
edit: actually i just found the test online:
