Re: Health and Fitness Thread
I was being regular in going to the gym, but I've realised once you get used to it, sometimes you get lazy and don't go. In other words, I need motivation, sigh.
I do Cardio/And a bit of strength training. And it keeps me healthy. BUT, although Im not over the weight I should be, I'd still like to loose a few KGs. [Thats pounds for you guys]. I've tried controlling the diet bit in the past few months, and I eat fairly healthy now alhamdulilah. I only indulge once in a while, but my weight doesn't move. It doesn't go down and neither does it go up. And I can't do the calorie counting thing, do I don't bother even trying.
Sal, [Or others] any tips? I read the how our body adapts to ours work-outs bit and I was thinking maybe that could be the case? I don't usually change my work-out much? [And how do you change it anyway?] Tips/suggestions would be nice.

Disgusting.
Speaking of the gym, aren't you the guy who spent years struggling and eating and lifting to get up to a whopping 185 lbs?

I'm trying to work my way up to the 20019820912 GABILLILLION farms you consume per snack. I have a feeling it may take me some time to get there.

1. If you had seen a pic of Gina and had not known she was an MMA fighter/American Gladiator would you still think of her as disgusting?
2. I think 185 lbs is damn good seeing as I have relatively low body fat along with speed, athleticism, and endurance. Aside from pro athletes; most people tipping the scales at over 200 lbs are pretty much nothing but fat tubs of lards who have terrible cardio and almost no athleticism. I honestly think I could beat down most of them in a one on one confrontation. Weighing 200-300 lbs don't mean a damn thing if your too lazy to work out or play sports; people like that could literally not last over a minute in an actual fight. Also take into account I still have a fast metabolism at age 19; in about 10 years or so if I keep working hard I def. think I can be athletic at 205-215 lbs.
3. I have to wonder about your physical credentials; sure you may weigh more than be, but would you be active enough to keep up with me in a full court basketball game, much less a wrestling match (probably one of the most physically enduring sports out there)
