- any exercise you can't do in a salwar kameez is unladylike
- for weight loss, stick to daal & light jogging
- you can't go wrong with red & lots of gold kaam

Lol; IMO this is the reason why there are so few South Asian athletes competing at the elite level in any field of sports. Desi dudes love small women and really don't care about fitness when it comes to both themselves and their spouses.
This post reminds me of a debate I had early in my High school years with one of the senior captains on our wrestling team. He was Bengali and was attracted to this Indian girl who I personally found to be way too skinny. So we had a friendly argument about it and it turns out that what he considered to be skinny was at a lot lower weight than what I considered. And he was very quick to write off a female track athlete whom I was attracted to as "manly". Furthermore; he said that the ideal weight for a woman of her height (she was around 5"7) should be no more than 120 lbs. I thought that was too skinny and said that I would not have a problem going with a girls in the 135-145 lbs range at that height; which made him crack up.
IMO there is a bit of a cultural gap in this debate. Growing up in a Hispanic culture I have always preferred woman who have a little bit of a meat on them. Note when I say meat I mean toned muscle not flabby fat. In addition I have always been more attracted to athletic women than to the petite type. Now I am not talking about Female Bodybuilders because I think that's damn disgusting but more like a female swimmer or soccer player. I'd take a girl like Jenny Finch or Gina Carano any day over a Diya Mirza or a Victoria Beckham
A lot of Asian guys on the other hand, like the really skinny, petite types and could really care less about the womens fitness level. In addition South Asian women don't really care about their husbands physique as much as other girls. This of course affects the gene pool and is one of the main reasons why South Asians are on average a lot smaller than other races.

You should strive to be more like Gina Carano; Elite XC fighter and American Gladiator. Chances some of the brothers are going to piss on me for finding such a "manly" woman attractive. But they can they can take their effeminate asses to the gym for once. I don't see the least thing that's not feminine about her. Just because you're a professional fighter does not mean you cannot be a women.

I don't think you'd die. You'd just lose every fight and get kicked about and humiliated. Worse than dying I'd say I'm the same, I have no idea what's happened but I am officially weak (not a wimp- there's a difference ) even my little brother (8) can beat me up. So I sit on him.

Tonight I've got shoulders, and triceps. And I think legs. I haven't done anything in a while so we'll see how many pushups I can bust.

Then... you go back down. Then you get up again... and then go back down. Do that a bunch of times while holding onto weights until you can't do it any more and that's legs.

You own weights even if you don't even know it . Anything kind of heavy will do.
And by "that's legs" - I meant that's your leg work out. If you do wide grip pushups, that's chest, close grip - that's triceps... that kind of stuff.

No, you can use weights for legs... squats and calf raises. you don't need to though.
It really depends on you, but if you're not going for the muscular look (which I know I'm not a huge fan of on girls), body weight exercises are fine.
