I wanted to change my lifestyle and be fit...now i want to condition my body to peak fitness in an effort to start Boxing again.

We have some boxing equipment in the garage, and let me just say, speed bags are awesome for frustrating days.

Once I get in the swing of things, hopefully my goals will get a little more specific.

Good luck with your goals bro. I'll be back here inshaAllah if I have more questions.

Yesterday

1 fried egg wit two sices of toast(white bread)
1 latte
5 california rolls with pepsi(opps!)
1 bowl of oatmeal raisan cereal for dinner.
1/4 gal water
---------------------------------------------
I need to drink more water and maybe even cut out my mornnig latte's. I know the pepsi was a poor choice so please don't yell at me. Someone said it may be do to hormones!? Than I saw something about this "diet pill" I think called slim quick, which is designed for women. I'm going to stay away unless I don't see result in the next few months. I need to drop at least 25-35 lbs. Anything more and I'd look sick. I'm currently at 150 and I'm 5'5. Don't know why I felt like sharing this info but yea, fat girls unite!

No if your hormones were involved, I think you'd also be gaining weight rapidly as well and it would be mostly to your midsection. But some people just have a harder time losing weight. I'm one of those people and my hormones are normal

I did some cardio and then a new class which uses the ball and weights for a bunch of toning exercises. I enjoyed the ball class! Now it's back to work.

I've noticed that my memory got rusty during the latter part of Ramadan. I neglected my multi vitamins and working out both during the month. I don't know what it might be. But I noticed a marked difference.

It's bouncing back though now that I'm working out again. I know there's a correlation or even like a sort of causal relationship according to some studies out there I think but I didn't think the difference would be so drastic/noticeable.

Might be a different variable altogether..

Anyway the soredom hath kicked innnnn

I need to start working out. Now that Ramadan is over, I should be working out more because I haven't worked out in years and my muscles are quite pathetic.

Try this to start off with.

DO that for 4 weeks. Also cut out the junk from your diet. Eat 5 small balanced meals a day( Protein Carbs and veg). I tend not to calorie count as i find that too laborious. However i do eat clean ie no junk all natural foods. I make my only beverages Water and Coffee. Treat yourself once a week to a meal that you enjoy

Its simple workout that will increase your basic fitness. You should also invest in a jumprope. Don't worry about building muscles until you've got your diet in check.

On a unhealthy note i did a lot of cardio and then ate a lot of ice cream...its carbs so no harm no foul...right?

Shaykh Google is your friend.

Burpees

How to do the Chinnies Video – 5min.com

And yes subtitute the exercises if that helps you completet the circuit.

For instance you could do crunches instead of Chinnies or Squat Thrusts instead of Burpees.

Yeah, PhD talk to your doctor about it!

**

I could do like SO many freakin REAL push ups before Ramadan. NOW I SUCK. It's gonna take forever to get back

Ok whatever

I hate it when my sleep schedule is wack and I go to work out, it throws me off

Whatever

I've been doing a ton of stuff everyday but I don't feel that great high awesome I'm getting strong feeling mostly cuz I'm trying to get back into the grind. It's not painfully hard but it's not easy either

In due time.. I'm giving it another week before crying about it
