I usually don't have trouble working out, but it's been tough this Ramadan. Oh well, I'll just try to go to more yoga and pilates. At least then I'll be doing something.

If you eat a good diet and WORK out then 20lbs is no problem. As for your arms you should do a few isolation exercises to build some muscle there..this will help burn the fat not a lot but every little helps. Don't worry you won't get big arms.

We don't know the meaning of a good diet in my house. So long as you eat and your full, we consider that a healthy diet. I might go back to my one BIG meal a day rule. But that might not be able to happen until after ramadhan. And I know I have to work out, but being out of shape, it's hard to keep myself motivated. Thanks bro. What are those protein shakes you drink?

darn, i forgot to weigh myself before ramadan.

if it weren't for the lack of enery, thus the lack of actively working out and thus the risk of muscle atrophy, i'd wish ramadan lasted forever... i like that i mostly just end up eating enough to last me the rest of day and not much, if anything, ends up ON me. a flatter ramadan stomach, no matter how temporary an existence = (alhumdulillah)

sigh. bismillah.

okay. i have a (mental) development.

my metabolism blows. like, really, it does. but in high school, i used to work out enough that, alh, i could eat whatever i wanted and still be relatively slim. but i've sucked it up and finally realized it, alh: i cannot and do not have the time to work out enough that i can continue to eat whatever i want, nor is my metabolism, however sucky back then, as bad as it is now. plus, i'm sure that i STILL eat more now than i did back then.

i... i really have to work on my diet.

there. i said.

so uh...what step comes after "acceptance"? i've never really ever made it past "denial"

i'm also in my ...acceptance stage. i've set my goal for december. by then, i should be able to see my face (and my stomach) again sans the grossness.

..i hope. inshallah? sigh.
