Re: Health and Fitness Thread
down 10 lbs alhamdulillah, in spite of eating atrociously over the weekend (esp saturday night). playing soccer and puking up some of the candy i ate on sunday night probably helped. visible difference.
i think i'm going to try to drop another 15 lbs, then add back ~10 lbs. right now the weight is coming off easy, but i'm guessing at some point soon i'm going to have to start doing some cardio and cutting out starches/sugars (which i'm very sensitive to/prone to storing as fat, thanks to my sedentary lifestyle & desi genes).
i'm guessing as soon as i end the calorie deficit, i'll gain back 3-5 lbs of water immediately. i'll want to add back any muscle i've lost in addition to that, which i'm estimating will probably be about ~5-7 lbs. adding back the muscle won't take much work, i'll just need to be careful to ramp up the calories gradually and eat VERY clean during that period to optimize whatever i gain back. after that, it'll be all maintenance.

Man........you guys are working it.......Mash'allah.
Well done. I haven't really gotten my sorry butt off of maintenance mode just yet, which means I have roughly 4-5 weeks to drop 13lbs of fat. Yaaaaaaaaaay!

Re: Health and Fitness Thread
Does anyone have knee issues here?
I drilled one of mine on the press yesterday. I was doing some pretty heavy sets from a really low position (I'm not going that low again)... but I stopped immediately and skipped cardio. It's an old injury, and it hasn't shown up in a long time as any sort of a problem.
I'm gonna do some of these I found on Sally's site, Injury Prevention Channel | Runner's World (just not all of them in public )
Anyone got anything else?
(In other news, I've gained almost 10lbs )

At least from what i got, i mean, are you glad now cause you dieted and got UNDER 90s?? That`s what i understood...
And i thought I was something close to slim... (i`m 5 feet 2 inches,like u rite?and 103 lbs)
Anyway, i decided to go into a liquid-only diet for a week.
