I'm so showing that video to the husband, he needs to switch from regular pushups to these

These US Navy Seals instructors are now marketing the Perfect Pull-up bar which uses angles to add more resistance and improve strength and endurance, they also came out with the Perfect Push up last year. I think you should Google those two.
They're expensive! Welcome to the Perfect Pullup Official Website - Inventors of the Perfect Pullup - - Unique Rotating Pull up Handles ...it's probly worth it though. Now I think I know what to get my husband, he's been looking for pull up bars for our new apartment.

Are you sure it doesn't mess up the door frame though, at all? Would it slide out and fall while someone's doing pullups on it? Looks sturdy but I wonder if the quality of the door frame itself would matter, our new place is in an older, antique-style building...

Anyone ever train with a weight vest? I'm thinking of making the investment. It really is an investment because it looks like it'll be $250-300 :/

Generally tho I don't mind paying top dollar for stuff I'll get use out of. I'm a firm believer in doing it right the first time.

Using a weight vest to train is something I'm finding more and more appealing. Just thinking about the strength and power I'll develop.... muahahahah.

It comes with 75lbs in removable weights. Depending on the the activity I'll vary the weight and then work my way up to using the full 75 for everything.

It'll be my new best friend. We'll be inseparable=]

It definitely looks very interesting.....it'll probably improve your overall conditioning a LOT...I still say you should go with strapping a midget to your chest though, think of the camaraderie you'll develop. Will a weighted vest be able to give you that?

The increase in core strength and subsequent increase in punching/kicking power... woot

I almost feel like I should keep it a secret so that no one else at my gym trains with one on. lol.

-had milk for breakfast
-took the stairs (was on the 9th floor) and walked
- had fruits and yogurt for lunch (nectarine and plum )

That's pretty sneaky........but you're training to beat the competition so I guess you should probably keep it under wraps.
