Oh yeah, I shave the neck too. As for the mustache, I keep it since it's blond and doesn't show up.
Seriously, there's something wrong with me if my beard is black and my mustache is blond.

Its not our fault we have necks built for heavy impact and women have fragile twiggish necks
Any branded duffel bag should be aight. Like adidas or Nike or something. (the brandless stuff tend to be terrible quality and doesn't last as long).

Dress / formal shirts go by collar size always. Add on arm-length as well, measured from across the back just behind the neck all the way down to the wrist.
Its as basic as knowing the waist and inseam sizes for his pants.

Re: Mens Personal Hygiene
Yeah well, I just found out about the waist sizes. Inseam? Inseam for what?!
Are guy sizes like girl sizes in the way that they vary from brand to brand?

Its not uncommon with people of British / Irish ancestry. Any of you guys ever watch Clive Owen's King Arthur (2004) ?
Ioan Gruffudd played the part of Lancelot in there and reportedly, due to his Celtic heritage (Gruffudd is Welsh), the beard kept growing in red and had to be "painted" each day before filming, to match his brown hair.

No, they don't really vary from brand to brand - the neck size, arm length, waist and inseam are all measured in inches.
Inseam is the length from the guy's crotch down to his ankle. I find that to be more accurate when you're going for a suit although knowing the length in general [waist down to ankle] will do you just fine, because that's more common and widespread.
And no, please don't bother measuring his inseam, or even any of his other measurements. Just take him to a men's clothing store and the sales associate or on-site tailor will do the measurements professionally and free of charge.

Re: Mens Personal Hygiene
Lol.
I know his collar, waist, and shirt size- so I'm pretty set right?
With pants, if it's a sm./med./lg./ex.lg/etc. will it say the waist size on the tag or will I be in for a shock and not know what size to get? Or do they not sell pants in sm.med.etc. sizes?

They don't sell pants in s / m / l / xl sizes, except maybe stuff like track pants or Sk8er-Boi cargo pants ... the really uber-casual stuff.
Otherwise, for normal everyday pants and jeans, it goes by waist and length. Those are the two numbers you'll always see on pants, inside, and often the stores note the number on pre-sales stickers or tabs on the outside of the fabric, when its at the store folded on a shelf or hung up. Its usually a number like 32 / 36 ... or 32 X 36 ... ie. two numbers separated by a slash or by an X. The first number is the waist size in inches, the second is the length [not inseam] also in inches.
Inseam sizes are what you might be inquired about if you go with him to get a proper suit, and if at that time you don't know, just politely ask to have it measured.

Actually that's a pretty average price range for ties.
