They are my garment of choice -- for the man on the go! -- but a nice pair of boxers certainly provides some welcomed liberation.

Beaters are worn not to conceal sweat, as they likely promote sweat but rather to conceal manboobage or accentuate musculature. They do both nicely.
Deo is just a must no if ands or buts. Or Butts. Because I know some Butts who could ussssse it.

Against because it puts more hair against the blade.

In this regard, always be a conformist: Go with the grain. When you shave against the grain, the blade rakes across the skin and pulls the hairs more harshly up and away from the face -- this leads to the likelihood of nicks, razor burn and ingrown hairs. Now, since some argue that against the grain gives a closer shave, here’s a compromise: First, shave with the grain, then re-lather and gently shave against it in light-pressure, short strokes. Doing so will appease your rebellious spirit and reduce your chances of irritation.

I think sixpak mentioned that we would allow women to post here to build this thread up and swiftly kick them out when they're no longer needed.
That's right ladies....you're all pawns in our MPH masterplan.

Re: Mens Personal Hygiene
Sumiyia, on most parts of my face I shave against the grain because I find it provides a much, much smoother cut. I use a barber's brush to lift them all up first.
The warnings against doing so are widely over-hyped. I've been shaving against the grain for years and I;ve never had any irritation, razor burn or ingrown hairs.
Also, posting that in the MPH makes you look kinda dumb.
