As long as you want as long as you don't look like a wimminz...the prophet (saws) has been reported as having shoulder length hair..

In general, we shouldn't imitate females or non-muslims. But we asked our imam about this and he said that you would have to unbraid your hair to do ghusl. Therefore, the longest you can keep cornrows is from Jummah to Jummah.
