Afghan cuisine is probably my favorite cuisine, it is very similar to our kashmiri cuisine:

Afghanistan has a wide varying landscape allowing for many different crops. Afghan food is largely based upon the nation's chief crops: cereals like wheat, maize, barley and rice . Accompanying these staples are dairy products (yogurt, whey), various nuts, and native vegetables, and fresh and dried fruits; Afghanistan is well known for its grapes. Given their mingled history, Afghanistan, Iran, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Pakistan (see Balochistan and North West Frontier Province) share similarities in cuisine.

lol i have a pashtun wife from peshawar and ya believe me she makes amazing food. Her family even makes better.

i have some afghan blood, that's probably because my parents are from NWFP.

nice, ya my wife makes amazing stuff, her family owns a restuarant back in peshawar so yeah they know how to make amazing food
