pasanday are usually made of a really good cut of beef, like sirloin or striploin. i'm not completely sure, bc we just ask our butcher for 'pasanday' and he knows what it is.

anyway, fav is probably spicy bombay goat biryani, nihari with all the garnishes, or whole deep fried lahori charga. raita is a must with all this, kachumbar (onion + tomato + cucumbers + lemon) is a plus.

I think it's more of an "Indian" dish than Pakistani. I've never had palak paneer at someone's house, only at weddings catered by Indian restaurants. Punjabis eat saag (sarson ka saag or gandalon ka saag), ain't that right, Spice?

My favorite dish is kadhi (curry?) the yellow stuff with the pakoray in it. That and haleem.

i hate most of the foods you have mentioned, i just cant eat most indian pakistani food. i am from kashmir so i dont eat these anyways, our cusine i think is more closer to afghanistan/iran and is much less spicy. Most of these dishes are from india i think if i am not mistaken

Hey there
Yeah, 'palak paneer' is moreso Indian. Though Pakistanis do make palak with gosht and sometimes just palak on its own. My family is not a fan though, we dont cook that stuff.
Sarson de saagh di balle balle.

You know what I was craving all this winter? 'raoo di kheer' with dahi/daieen..?
