Unfortunately, the placebo effect isn't so effective for pancreatic cancer.

these statistics are bogus. lung cancer is NOT the leading cause of death in america - its diabetes, and drunk driving believe it or not. its why theres national epidemic to combat obesity by the u.s. health dept. Not only that, I have reports by other conservative doctors who even question that cigarettes are responsible for lung cancer. again there is too much propoganda put out there by the medical industry.
the oldest man in the world, lives in japan, drank, and smoked and lived to be well over a 100. that's why i say all smokers should drink green tea, or use the extract tablets. switch a alternative diet, which includes neem tablets (neem is natures drugstore).

I never said its acceptable. And i agree even makruh holds a lot of weight in Shariah. But we're talking about occasional smooking/hookah, not as an addiction.
I think there's a clear difference..
But yea, thanks for being concerned

I beg to differ man. I dont think it goes in the system and causes addiction. I think it has to do with one's mental strength....the weaker a person is mentally, the more vulnerable he becomes to any addiction

I love you, and this isn't necessarily directed towards you alone, but what the hell is up with people complaining about others being 'judgmental'?? Get over it. People are constantly, whether intentionally or unintentionally, judging others but love to complain when they are openly judged and they don't like what they hear. It's always when they are doing something wrong do they have a problem with people 'judging' them. Now if the people are judging them by complimenting them, then they are just a bundle of joy but other than that, they want to lecture on the harms of judging. Please.
Look at me, I'm about to judge you and this is directed to you: I care about you too freakin' much to sit here and sugarcoat or lie to you. You are too freakin' sweet, too freakin' cute, too freakin' smart, to freakin' caring, to waste your precious and valuable life and body on some freakin' loser addiction like smoking. You want to die of some disease that was TOTALLY preventable? Huh?? I don't care if you smoke on occasion, because that doesn't make a piss worth of difference when it comes to harming your body. What the hell is wrong with you? To freak with all those who smoke, grow a set of freakin' balls and be your own man. If you continue to smoke, I will freakin' kick your freakin' ass when I come and see you. And you do NOT want your freakin' ass kicked by an angry midget black american woman! So stop being a freakin' attention wh0r3 and focus on your schooling and other aspects of your life so you can live out this Blessed life God has given you and you can make me some nieces and nephews damnit. Do I make myself freakin' clear?

That's by far *THE* funniest and cutest thing I heard from you, Shadha. Cant even rep you for it...damnit

Thanks. Yea I know he needs to show the sources for once! I still don't understand why anyone would think the medical industry would propogate lung cancer...

They're not bogus. The statistics are actually specifically talking about different types of cancers NOT the leading causes of death in the U.S. What reports are you talking about? sources please. See you say things but you never cite a source to back up what you say. What what would the medical industry gain from propogating this? Also I don't think lung cancer actually gets THAT much attention.Don't really see commercials for patches or any other product to quit anymore...on the other hand you still have a GIGANTIC corporation that produces and distributes cigarettes...Phillip Morris. They also fund the programs to quit
