i dont think i can raise $1,800.. its a lot of money and everyone i know is broke as hell...

is it true that if you only raise a portion of the required amount, then you have pay the remaining amount yourself?

Shotgun: What does the date have to do with it?

I would prefer to train for it. It's a lot of miles in one day.

sona- you have the option of either paying the remaining amount, or taking yourself out of the walk and just donating what you have, or providing a credit card that will be charged one month after the walk-- the one month gives you the opportunity to continue raising funds.

I'm pretty confident that I'll be able to raise 1,800. InshaAllah.

for those for you living in Canada... there is a similar event... "weekend to end breast cancer"
here are the dates:
Ottawa, ON, June 6-8.
Calgary, AB July 25-27.
Edmonton, AB August 8-10.
Vancouver, BC, Sept. 5-7.
Toronto, ON. September 5-7.
Halifax, NS, August 15-17.

EVERYTHING causes skin cancer.. olay, cetaphil, bath&body works, even tap water... I dont particularly care anymore because if I wanted to avoid it all I'd have to live in the hills and consume wild berries and stream water (which is probably contaminated too). Looking at harmful ingredients drove me nuts so I just gave up. And I like Mary Kay better

I would love to do this. I was thinking about the 3-day, but then I realized I can't really walk that far. plus, the closest one is in NY, and I was planning on going to Atlanta that weekend. I guess I can think about it some more.

so we did our breast cancer run a few weeks ago..it was amazing amazing amazing tho my chip got mixed up with my friends..that was lame. but overall such a funnnnnnnnn, uplifting experience. it was HUGE. SOOO many people. everybody had teams..families dressed alike and stuff..obviously majority of the people were women..and omg everything everywhere was PINK..all the decorations, everything we got...pinkkkk.

ah so cute. SOOOOO many breast cancer survivors...etc.

i cant WAIT to do it again.

my city along with all of CND did our run for breast cancer today!! it was awesome! it was a 5k or 1k walk or run. my team decided to do the 5k walk because we wanted to stick together...the pink everywhere was awesome!
