Default runners and running

are you a speed or endurance runner?

i think im an endurance runner..so i can do long distances at a steady semi slow pace more than sprinting. i can sprint in the middle but i cant sprint all the way through

apparently all runners intuitively know which of the two is more their thing..cuz we're all made differently and stuff.

it sounds like they could both go hand in hand though..speed and endurance..but a person who can speed can run for a short while but go really far and an endurance person can do the same or more but in a longer time frame

a lot of people dont wear the right shoes and get lots of injuries.

and it takes time to build up running endurance because your whole body is moving. most people think it should take lesser time like building endurance on an elliptical or bike but they are completely different movements.

but most people just arent interested in running so they never get around to working hard for it..because i think if you work a little on it and have patience you can go pretty far. but everyone has different interests and that's fine.

now, please make yourself your own biking thread iA

Hodja picked up a bunch of grapes, cut it up into pieces and gave each child a piece.
"You have so much, but you gave us so little," the children complained.
"There is no difference whether you have a basketful or a small piece. They all taste the same," Hodja remarked.

this guy freakin ran 63 marathons in 63 days.

YouTube - curetour's Channel

On September 3, 2007, Tim Borland of Los Gatos, California set out on an incredible quest to run a marathon a day (26.2 miles) for 63 consecutive days while pushing a mobility jogging stroller. Traveling more than 14-thousand miles across 29 states, 63 communities and one Canadian Province, Borland sought to raise awareness and funding for the non-profit A-T Children's Project. Battling a brutal schedule complicated by excessive heat, high winds, drastic elevation changes and torrential rain, Tim pushes on. Borland is fueled by the hope to find a cure for children diagnosed with a rare terminal disease, Ataxia Telangiectasia -- whose own feet lack the strength to run.

Here you'll find daily video blogs along the 63 day journey.

A documentary crew chronicled Tim's quest and will release the feature film in 2008. To learn more about "FEAT" the documentary visit: FEAT Movie

I do too - I've been doing intervals to mix things up. Maybe try that?
