Re: runners and running
cool trivia
Marathon…26.2 Miles, 26 Miles and 385 yards, 42.2 kilometers. Once upon a time, in 490 BC, the Persians invaded Greece, landing near Marathon on Greece’s eastern coast. As Legend has it, Pheidippides, a runner-messenger for the Greeks, was sent from Athens to Sparta to ask for help. He took 2 days to get there (running some 150 miles). After the battle, in which the Greeks prevailed, Pheidippides then ran back to Athens, going south along the coast and across coastal foothills before arriving in Athens, a distance of about 25 miles from Marathon. Upon his arrival in Athens, he supposedly announced ‘Rejoice. We conquer!’ and then fell dead.

I heard that we fell dead after warning them. Like he ran 150 miles to warn them of an attack, and once he warned them, he fell over dead.

Not to mention the Girltalk thread and FPH
I was kidding in my last post (sally already pointed out I lack sarcasm), but when it comes down to it...I've seen more hijabis at my races than Muslim brothers. Once I got some brothers to commit until they realized they would have to pray Fajr there and decided to sleep in instead.

I'm not big on running.
Where I came from, men stood and fought.

Re: runners and running
I went running. Twice outside and one time at home. It was boring on the treadmill, even with my iPod but fun outside.
Tips on how to wear hijab while running?

Tuck it into your top, it looks UGGFUGG but I'd imagine if you did it right and pinned it in the proper places it would stay well in place.
Also, you'd have to some how figure out a way to tuck it in but still 'cover' your upper body.
