Plus, I don't think any of us are at the point where we run so long that we'd miss a prayer anyway! Maybe if it was marathon training, but then you can time things.

So I'm still pretty sore today. I took a walk yesterday and today I'm going to do the elliptical just to loosen myself up. But my achilles is sore, so I'm going to have to hold off on running for a little bit.

I did 5 hours on a bike ride once. But I did a stop at Zaytuna so I didn't miss Dhuhr Alhamdulillah

For running, 5 hours is a marathon time, so really not a normal training time (except for super-athlete kind of people).

5 Hours is the Marathon time? Should be more like 8 or 10... I thought you had to run more miles for than the marathon to prepare for it . Maybe that's just for competitive races.

Nah, many marathon courses close after 6 hours. For people who win, they'll do it much quicker, so even if they run more than 26 miles for their long runs, it still wouldn't take that long.

Do they have hills on running courses? I mean like steep ones. That would be cool to watch

I'm 83 Islamican years old

They're not dumb questions I once saw a cyclist topple over backwards cause he couldn't keep his front wheel grounded cause of the steepness of the mountain. It'd be cool to see runners run on those kind of hills Test of strength and willpower etc...

Because I'm becoming more girly every day, I'm developing a taste for jewelry. Granted, I'm not high fashion yet, which is probably why I want this so badly:
