favorite flavor
when it comes to main dishes, what is your taste of preference?
there's really no taste variation within desi food...most desi dishes have the same spices and herbs so i just mean western food i guess
but do you tend to like cheesy foods? or foods with lots of herbs? what's the best combination of flavoring ingredients in your opinion? what's the best meat marinade? pasta? vegetables?
this is a weird question. or maybe i just suck with words. STHU.
like..i am crazy about garlic, lemon pepper, lemon, and basil. i would put them in everything if i could. actually i probably already do. my cousin is crazy. he eats those thin green desi hot peppers/mirchis with everything. RAW. another cousin of mine eats achaar or pickles with a lot of foods. it's just interesting to see what pleases and is appealing to different peoples tastebuds.

Re: favorite flavor
asslaamu alaykum
No cheese on anything, especially with meat, makes me so sick. And NO pizza, i really dont like pizza, or sausages (i just CAN'T eat them).
Apart from that, I love ALL food (asian and arab especially). I love achaar (and pickled carrots ) , esp the one with mango (I would eat that with everything if I trusted that it wouldn't give me some sort of stomach illness). I love reallly fresh fruit and vegetables, and i love cardamom and mint (esp FRESH mint) and EVERYTHING. I hate every cake except fairy cakes and cheesecakes. And I LOVE steaks mmmm.

Re: favorite flavor
red meat: grilled
chicken: crispy or stew-y; the in between stuff kind of confuses me
fish: bangalis do it well. i fault western ways of cooking fish (esp poaching- ick)
vegetables: either just seared on the outside, or sturdy veggies cooked in stews (exception: onions)
salad: raw, always. not even wilted. while strong/sour dressings are appreciated, nothing too outlandish/mixed up, flavor wise.
.....i think most of what i posted was texture. back to writing my essay.
