Chinese Tea
I have been drinking alot of cups of Chinese tea lately. Chinese green tea, jasmine tea and oolong tea from China's Fujian province. These tea's have extremly high health benefits, are high in anti-oxidants and Green tea alone is medically proven to kill cancer cells, including lung cancer. I have been on a diet of traditional herbal medicines for a few months now and i have never felt better in my life. I became such a strong believer in it, that i went out and bought miswak toothpaste. Miswak is medically proven to kill 60% more bacteria, and feeling the pain in my teeth and gums, told me that it was working. I am such a believer that i will never use colgate ever again in my life. I am now currently using neem toothpaste, known as 'natures drugstore' for thousands of years since india/south asia's golden vedic age. The results are amazing. today was the first day i started using the neem toothpaste. I brushed twice already today (and probably will go for a third) and i can already feel the neem sinking into my gums and getting to work. Neem is medically proven to cure gum disease, regardless of what most western dentists claim.
Jasmine tea Direct From China is very strong. In fact, Jasmine is a known aphrodiasiac and i can personally attest to that lol. I started off drinking japanese-style ban cha green tea (everyday green tea) that was direct from China, even had chinese writing on it. The results were beyond amazing. So I decided to head down to chinatown and stock up on more. Not only was was it cheaper, it was stronger and direct from china. I bought a big box of royal brand chinese green tea of 100 teabags for only $3.50. I then went and bought two small boxes of 20 teabags of booth chinese jasmine tea, which has a base of green tea sprinkled with jasmine flowers, and chinese oolong tea which is both green tea and black tea. They are very strong, and work amazing. They have high caffine amounts, so its good to drink at the start of your day, and even during the day at the office to keep you wide awake and alert. both small boxes of 20 teabags i bought at a chinatown supermarket, frequented only by asians, for only .66 cents per box!
I even started drinking the Indian version of rooh afza, for its medicinal properties. I just bought a second bottle of it today after jummah, for only $3. Its made by the same hamdard family that makes the more popular pakistani-version, since one brother left for pakistan after partition. However, unlike the pakistani version. The indian version out of delhi holds ayurvedic and islamic unani medicine within in it. Again the results have proven amazing. Check out their company website which explains more about the health benefits of indian rooh afza. In fact, nioctine can even be used to treat add and other psychological ailments. People who are clinically sczchophrenic, are known to start off using nicotine products found in tobacco in an attempt to self-medicate themselves. Im a big supporter of medical marijauna and am not against the use of marijauna due to its health benefits. Medical marijauna is known to treat over 200 diseases and ailments - including a.i.d.s! its that strong. Medical marijauna is available in canada and california with a doctor's prescription. You can even buy it from a vending machine now in california 24/7. in fact, before the invention of asprin in the 19th century, ancient Muslim doctors from Islam's golden age, used to prescribe marijauna to treat all types of ailments, including something as minor as a headache.

Re: Chinese Tea
Do you know any food or homeopathic remedy/medicine that would help with nerve problems?
Especially with the case of nerve pinching and repairing nerves
thanks.

I have seen pills for that on sale, as well for stress relief, in both ayurvedic form and traditional chinese medicine, in indian grocery stores, and both chinese grocery stores and chines herbal medicine shops in chinatown. they dont cost much either and you can even order them off of the internet, but the price might be a bit higher than in the stores when ordering off of the internet. check ebay if you want too, you will be surprised at what you can find for sale there. its great for people who live in places where access to things like these are hard to get along with internet shopping as a whole. in fact one thing to also keep in mind, is that traditional chinese medicine comes from indian ayurvedic and islamic unani medicine. so you may as well goto the origional source, unless you can find what your looking for in traditional chinese medicine. if im not mistaken, i think maybe accupunture is also used for nerves, and i have heard that it is actualy covered by some insurance companies. again im not sure about that.
as for which herbal medicine to use, i think green tea helps alot in that, but you can refer to this as well to find out exactly what to use:

Traditional Chinese medicine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Green tea - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Acupuncture - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

thanks.
I have been drinking green tea once daily. As a result, I have noticed an improvement in metabolism and reduction of fat. I guess I should go to my local indian store and see what they offer. Living in Austin, there's not much of a variety at our desi stores compared to the ones in Houston. Acupuncture is also something I am considering - it should help me with my back pain as well. Speaking of which, I recall you mentioned an Ayurvedic cream for back pain in another thread. I would appreciate if you can tell me the name of the company and/ what the cover looks like? thanks again.

the back pain cream is called 'moov'. its not just for back pain, but all sorts of muscle joints. I also used it on my wrist, because of the pain i was feeling from using the mouse all the time. it worked wonders. try looking for it at patel brothers. i bought it in thier store on devon avenue, chicago's "Little south Asia' so they may carry it in thier other store chains across the country.
Also green tea is a dietary suppliment, i already lost ten pounds just from drinking it. If you can, try and get royal king brand from china, its 100% organic and very strong. plus nicotine also helps calms and soothes the nerves, especially if you have a bad temper like i do. if you dont want to take up cigarettes, there's also the nicotine gum and nicotine patch. it will work wonders for your brain.
i started getting interested in this, because like 45 million other people in america, and thanks to greedy insurance companies and thier co-horts, greedy doctors, I dont have health insurance. So i find traditional medicine to be a fantastic alternative. after all people have been using it for thousands of years, and millions still continue to rely on it in India and China. In fact, even if i do have health insurance later on, I will still continue traditional herbal medicine.
if you cant find moov or any other ayurvedic product that your looking for, try ordering it online Moov Pain Relief (15 g)

is the soup something that you add to your regular diet? or does the patient go on a soup-only diet?

Re: Chinese Tea
I looooove green tea. It's the only tea I drink, and I drink it every day.
My favourite is jasmine tea. I like to use loose leaves and add some fennel seeds (sawnf) and sometimes some alychee (cardomom).
I also like pure green, and camomile, although camomile is a once-in-a-blue-moon affair.
