Re: Is Overeating Haraam?
Asking too many questions is severely disliked, because it leads to a constricted lifestyle and it was one of the undoings of Bani Isra'eel.
So stop asking so many frivolous questions.
The answer to your question is found in the sunnah, when nabeyuna Muhammad [saws] said that the worst vessel a man can fill is his stomach. Ergo, we were advised to eat moderately, such that what is quite enough for one person should feed two, what is enough for two people can feed three, and so on. And if you feel that you must fill your stomach, then have 1/3 of it for food, 1/3 for water or liquid, and leave 1/3 empty so that you can breathe easily.

Why do you get so bothered about other peoples opinions so much? You're dress pants too tight for you or something?

As I said before, asking frivolous questions is severely disliked. It was something that destroyed Bani Isra'eel and its something that used to make the Prophet become angry.
So don't try to justify your unacceptable behavior.

It's not unacceptable donchaknow
What he was pointing out was that the ummah is leaning toward obesity. A perfectly valid concern. Banu Israel were asking stupid pointless questions about the color of the cow they were supposed to slaughter etc...

.... هاتوا برهانكم
FYI:
Abu 'Isa al-Mughira ibn Shu'ba reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Allah Almighty has forbidden you to disobey your mothers, to deny others what is rightfully theirs or demand what is not rightfully yours, and to bury your daughters alive and He dislikes you engaging in chit-chat, asking too many questions and wasting money." [Agreed upon]
Allaah and His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) forbade wasting money. Al-Bukhaari (5975) and Muslim (593) narrated from al-Mugheerah ibn Shu’bah that he said: I heard the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say: ‘Allaah has forbidden three things: gossip, asking too many questions, and wasting money.’”
Its also forbidden directly by Allah ta3ala in Surah al-Maa'idah.

Please shut up or else produce your proof, as I asked.
