My sleeping habits are terrible. I regularly sleep 3, 4 or even 5am.

Apparentely sleeping so late is very bad for your health. Amongst other things, it helps you to gain weight.

So, when do you normally go to sleep?

Fair enough. I do the same. But generally speaking you must have a rough time that you normally go to sleep and wake up, no? (like mine is about 3-4am)

How come you wake up so early? Do you go for a bike ride at that time?

Also, if you sleep at 9pm, don't all your friends and family think you're strange?

I can sleep for two hours and then get up and get going if I have to or want to. So, I'll get up for Fajr, then go back to sleep for an hour before I get up and get ready for work. And before Fajr, I'll sleep anywhere from three to six hours usually.

For the sake of consistency, on weeknights I usually try to put myself to sleep around 12 or 1

on weekends I crash and sleep for like 10 or 12 hours straight - but only if I've had a sleepless week with a crazy workload at the office, which is usually at near quarters' and year end.

It depends on what day it is. If it's a tuesday or thursday, I have to go to bed early ( 9 is good) because I have morning classes (8 am) and school's a long drive. If it's either MWF, I go to bed at 10 or 10:30 (anything after that is late) cuz I have evening classes on TR. If it's weekend, I still try to go to bed early cuz waking up for fajr isn't easy for me. I've always been an early bird..I go to sleep early and wake up early. Even when we used to have sleepovers, my friends would get mad at me because i'd be the first one to fall asleep. They would try to wake me up but all their efforts would be fruitless.

If I sleep late, I wake up late. I wake up early for Fajr. Then I have a shower and have a cuppa tea and off I go to the masjid.

oh cool. I usually start getting really sleepy at around 1-1:30 am. Wake up at around 5/6ish.
I need a better sleeping schedule.

I'm with you on this.....But I do random things like study, net surfing, watch a movie, listening to music or whatever comes to mind. Studying at night has always worked best for me because theres no one or nothing to disturb me and I can concentrate I'm a night owl and I get excellent grades if I study at night

I can stay awake all night if need be, but when I do hit the bed, I need a good 12 hrs sleep because I love sleeping.....and I'm tired

Sleeping or waking up early has never been on my agenda, unless I've a early morning class or something important

the later I sleep, the harder it gets to wake up for fajr.

but its sooo not practical to sleep early for me.

usually ends up around 1-2am
