Oh, whoops. Sorry Aunty.
Also, speaking of women who don't know they're pregnant: one morning, when I was 8, my parents weren't there when I woke up, but my grandma said that they had gone to the hospital at night because my mom's stomach had been hurting... and now I had a baby brother! So that's what I told my teacher at school. That my mom's stomach was hurting so she went to the hospital at night and had a baby and what a big surprise for all of us! And my teacher said that she's sure it hadn't been that big of a surprise for my mother. And I kept insisting it had been.
Okay, so that story was more about kids who don't know their mommies are pregnant.
K, show us pics of the baby too!

Follow the link, lots of pictures. I think the baby looks pretty good considering. Mom looks a little malnourished.

Baby looks great.
Mom doesn't look healthy, no... but it's India.
Variable: Not all of us get our sexual education from the internet.

Right, because you're using Safe Search...
Bruin and I didn't have to search for it in the first place 'cause we're already in the know.

Timbit, speak for yours- ahem.
Yes, the mom unfortunately looks just like any rural desi peasant. Interestingly, the rural Hindus of Sindh often dress the same way.

I'm not even gonna ask.
That is pretty incredible about the baby... it's gonna be a tough kid someday.

So true...looking at the mom, the baby seems destined for a harsh life.

Re: Pregnant woman gives birth in train lavatory
I think women should avoid giving birth in toilets. I know some women probably think it saves time, going to the toilet and having the baby in one sitting, but really, I think it's better for the long-term development of the child to be born somewhere normal. Like a barn. Or a birthing pool.
