Oh... I can't believe I missed that. In any case, it's not as easy as it may sound. I was really premature, and I caused my mom some serious problems (maybe some we've never gotten over heh). My sister on the other hand was a lot bigger, but she was born before my mom even knew it.

Oh I know. But I'm talking about those who have no trauma yet really claim to have had no idea at all.

It happens.
I worked with a woman who had really irregular periods (like 1 a year) and her doctors had told her that she'd only be able to get pregnant if she had fertility treatments. So, she and her hubby never bothered with birth control. Then she started feeling weird, went to the doctor, and they told her that she was almost six months pregnant. She ended up having the baby just a few weeks later, very premature.
My aunt had a baby last year, had one period after that, then missed a couple. She'd been irregular after her first child too, so she thought it was something similar to that. Eventually, when it still didn't come, she had an ultrasound that showed she was five months along.

Re: Pregnant woman gives birth in train lavatory
see, five, six months I understand because the movements feel like gas or muscle spasms at the time. I just can't understand the ones who go to term claiming that they never knew. Because sometimes it actually hurts when they move around in there, and it's quite prominent and very often.

Hmm...the cases I've heard of like that are usually teenagers. Naïveté/stupidity I guess.

That sounds impossible for other reasons...
at least very unlikely

Well duh. However, I saw it on Discovery Health, one of their ER shows, and this really really fat lady (who was also pretty old) came in complaining of stomach problems, and people thought she had some stomach bug. Then her water burst. She was all "OMG, I'm pregnant? You're kidding, I can't be pregnan"' the staff were really surprised too, cuz she didn't look pregnant either.
Who knows, maybe when you're that fat, all the pains of kicking and stuff feel like normal pains of being fat. Plus, if you're pretty old you might think you just started menopause or something.

well it's gunna be mighty difficult for 2-400 lb people. However, if the guy is normal weight, and it's the lady that's enormous, things should work fine.

When I was little I used to think that if women ate enough cherbie, they could get pregnant with a big ball of fat.
