I've had one round of imaging and I have to have a biopsy in a couple weeks. I know it's probably nothing, but it's just a little worrying when something is classified as a "suspicious mass" (especially when the next category up is "95% probability of cancer" ).
Plus, I have a couple of issues in my personal life that I need to sort out, but I don't know how. Divine intervention would be appreciated.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
duas for everyone who needs and wants them.
A few months ago I had to go to the dentist, and hubz didn't come home in time to watch the kids. You got to love the effect of cramming 3 kids (one of them a 3 month old at the time) and a stroller into a small waiting room and then also having to tell the staff "by the way, no x-rays, because I'm pregnant". I'm going to start borrowing other people's kids too now when I have to go out... I'm starting to look pregnant, imagine the visual impact!

radiographs aren't contraindicated in the second trimester.
(nm..you said "a few months ago")

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I was in the first trimester. But I had an active abscess so they wanted to get at it right away.. I actually went in to consult for redoing the root canal but eventually had an extraction instead. Extractions on both back lower molars, first before knowing about the pregnancy.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
my hands are shaking, I can't keep them still. I think it's a side effect of the anti-migraine medication I'm on. I've been dizzy and tired and I can't concentrate, too...all side listed side effects of the drug. obviously..I can't treat my patients like this. I guess I have to stop taking it and see if things improve.

I've always thought it's interesting that the first trimester is the one that radiation is avoided but it's when women usually don't know they're pregnant right away (unless they're trying, of course)
