Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I told my husband that I had to go ISNA clothes shopping and he thought I was kidding. Then i explained to him how ISNA outfits are totally planned in advance. Then I had to call Farah to have her confirm. He thinks we're crazy. Alh for healthy relationships

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
why do you need to plan ISNA outfits? You already done got married. I suggest you all form a committee to focus on farah's outfittage needs for ISNA. As in, man-trap outfittage. Get on it.

I had bronchitis and I couldn't even speak because I had been coughing so much that my voice got all messed up(but there was still some sort of volume coming out). I was told to eat one teaspoon of turmeric mixed with honey and it would make it better. After I ate it, I totally lost my voice for the next 3 days It was weird because I would open my mouth and nothing would come out, even though I felt like I was screaming. Not very successful.
Upton is turmeric, and I have used that for beauty purposes, especially if I am going out a lot under the sun and feel myself getting a little tan. It works really well...I used to it continuously for about a week and it made my skin look nicer.

Thank you, did you use the powder form? I keep seeing online that making a paste by mixing the powder with water is good for cleansing the skin....any experience with that?

yeah I used the powder. I mixed it with milk, and you can also add honey to it.
Another thing I use which is actually really really good(and you'd never guess it) is this conche nacar stuff--you can even find it at walmart. Its REALLY good, and very inexpensive. The results are immediate and very extreme.
another skincare tip: grind rice in a spice grinder and use it to exfoliate. ground rice is good for your skin. I grind an entire jar all at once and then use it a few times a week. It lasts a long time
