i'm curious: if a number of people on different occasions have commented on a certain aspect of your behavior which they find to be rude or unnecessary, how long would it take for one to actually even consider their nasiha rather than tossing around "take it or leave, i am how i am"?

some people may never realize it or consider it. depends on the person.

rawrr: I agree with most other fphers in that it's necessary to tell the potential beforehand, even before the engagement. Some people won't think it's a big deal while others will, and inshallah that's how you tell who is worth your time and who's not... a person is not judged by whether or not they can have children, people who think like that are just shallow and one wouldn't want to spend his/her life with them anyway

It depends on what it is - maybe it's cultural differences.

Anyway, regarding the fertility question, what does it mean that one probably can't have babies? Even people with fertility problems have healthy kids and people with no known problems have difficulty. It might be worth getting clarification from a physician about the issue and the specifics. It's probably better to say to say "I have irregular periods which might impact things when it's time to have kids, but there are treatments" versus "I am BARREN!", you know?

Anyways, by this time tomorrow it'll be illegal for me to marry anyone else. Oh, and I still need to finish packing. and I ahve a final at 6:30pm today. And I need to clean. And my flight is at 6:30am. I wonder if a cab can pick me up at 4ish am? Ya, probably...
