i got my rice cooker yesterday and the rice was done in 10 mins..damn!
today i'm getting my indoor grill..i can't waitttttttttt
thanks to wedding gift cards it was affordable.  (i still have my gift cards hehe)

good thing about rice cookers is that u can put the rice in..and just leave the house or do whatever.
it'll cook and automatically go to "warm" and won't burn the rice.

hello. all is calm in my fph world.  DR found me a hair place and the eyebrow lady did a decent job. she also said i was pretty and couldn't believe how pink my lips were so i let her wax my arms too and it was really quick and didn't hurt alh alh. then she went on to say how i totally do not need to wear any make-up because my 'naksh' are so pretty. so i went a head and scheduled a facial too.
now my purse is empty but i feel pretty.

what do you mean? do you mean bloated by fat
basmati rice and other long grained rice have a moderate glycemic index, unlike white rice usually eaten in america. this means that the sugar in the rice takes a while to be released into your system. which is a good thing. anything with a high glycemic index is bad for you in excess unless it's fruit/veggies in their original state (non preserved) etc.
one way to slow down the process of the carbs in basmati rice from being released into your system even more is to eat it with protein like chicken or something
