People are to be punished for the sins they commited, ie. chose to do. Being a woman is a) not a sin and b) not a choice.

I never though it was.
Being a housewife= a wife who maintains her household right?
I've never met a wife who doesn't whether or not she worked/schooled/stayed home.

I dont think its contradictory....techincally if you take care of the house and your a wife...regardless if you work or not, your a housewife. |

I think every woman has her own definition of what a housewife is, there's really no written rule, no such thing as a 'housewife' in itself. What you make of the idea of a 'housewife' is entirely your own. 
It means different things to different women- and I guess thats why some see it as a noble role, while others look down upon it.
In the end, what works best for you and your family, and whatever you need to do to keep the home and family in working order

Very interesting. I just discovered some interesting news. I don't know what to do. Wallah I really hate my life right now, if I wasn't a Muslim... I'm at my lowest point. I don't know what to do.
