Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I dunno why, I feel so down. I feel so sick. It sucks the most to live alone when you need someone by your side. Living alone does has it perks and I really do like it sometimes and I'd rather live alone then deal with room mate drama but if you have someone good that you can live with, then it's so much better. I can't wait till tomorrow when I can pick up my husband. Anyways, alhamdulillah. It's just temporary (this pain and living alone).
Aaaanyways, I'll go do something productive now.

Hi, can you ladies take your crying-for-my-husband posts to like a different font colour?
because, most of us are single

Oh sorry... I'm not actually crying for my husband even though I miss him terribly, I just feel sick and down for other reasons.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I couldn't live alone.
I like to be around people. Sometimes if I need to be alone for a bit, I'll go in my room for an hour or two. But then I always come back out to spend some with the family... or I leave the door open as an invitation to my siblings to come in ('cause I start missing them ). I like sharing a room with my sister. She's messy but we do fun things together.
Also, I can't go for very long without seeing my friends.
I could probably live alone for a bit, but then I'd have to see my friends/family all the time, so I would be spending a lot of time outside the house.
Farah: omg. Be strong. InshaAllah khair.
Spice: Good luck for the interview.

jazakAllah khair, guys i just really really hate disappointing my parents, which can be extra difficult when i just... want to live my life differently than they do or did or understand. trying to keep them happy while trying to maintain my own deen is tough when it seems like those two things can often conflict... especially since i realize that caring for my parents is part of my deen. i really think the most difficult part is when they feel that my not listening to them equates with my not loving them.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I need a makeover. I look so blah. anyone know how I can do a mini home facial?
edit: farah it's hard to balance your happiness with your parents happiness and the fact that you care so much about your parents happiness is very admirable. may Allah make things easy for you.
