Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Aw feel better I know how much it sucks to be alone. I've been living alone since law school and at first I liked it, but now it's just like, sad. Alhamdulillah I'm getting married soon so no more of this. Five months!
After my post in the middle of the night I tried to go back to sleep but I felt so weird, then I gagged (as though I wanted to throw up) and my limbs felt so weak. I realized maybe I was just really hungry? I thought about it and realized I probably haven't been eating enough but that's so weird, because I'm not avoiding food, I'm just not hungry ...
So I got up to eat something and felt better. I'm going to have a hefty breakfast insha'Allah

Ya, I've had it suggested a couple of times as well and I was sooo scared and I still am. But then I read a bunch of reviews and more objective statistics and it seems that, although it does suck to be on it, it's worth it. Alhamdulillah I don't have a lot of acne, it's just freakin persistent. But I have about 5 weeks so if it gets better as it has been, maybe I won't have to go on it.
I talked to my husband about it and he was really supportive of course. I love him.

it does suck while youre on it. i took it twice. i really needed it the first time, but i didnt think i really did the second time. alhamdulillah im soooo glad i took it both times, i hadnt been able to go with minimal or no makeup since i was like 13, and now i can.

i live alone too. i like it
i think it didnt phase me as much to move out on my own because when i lived at home my parents spent a lot of time overseas and it would just be me and my brother in the house (and he's a full time student and has a full time job working midnights so he's never home). i guess i just got used to it. i felt the abandonment/lonliness a lot more when my sister got married when i was 17. we had shared a room almost my whole life and it was reeeally weird not having her there all of a sudden.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
uh ya. i like living alone.
technically, i have two roommates, but 9 times out of 10, none of us are home at the same time. and even if we are, we do our own thing. the only time it's guaranteed that we see one another is at the first of the month when we get together to take care of the bills and what not...and even then, we often miss out and end up leaving checks in each others rooms. lol.
i like my space. i like my room the way it is. i like being on my own schedule. i like that i can stay up as late as i want reading in bed without having to worry about someone elses sleep schedule or how sensitive they are to the light.
..people come and go. i like not having to depend on someone else to be functional.

please make dua things work out and my fam doesn't end up hating me. i really feel like the worst daughter in the world. i've been at work and hour and a half and i've had to force myself to not cry like 3 or 4 times already. jazakAllah khair

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
gotta confession to make; overall im the extrovert type but when it comes to dealing with my problems and/or at time of crisis..my personality switches drastically, i like isolating myself and reflecting on things on my own and try to sort out my problems and dont feel like consulting with my friends and family until i have found a solution..thats just me.
from experience, it is not necessarily a 'good thing' because others must have gone through similar if not the same problem. seeking advice, or consulting with people you trust is a def a good idea..ah! i wish i'd follow my own steps..it always feels like a tug of war inside me at the end, my ego ends up winning... and it keeps bottling up inside..its def not healthy, let along easy. but, when i want to share, i find that everyone around me is busy fighting their own problems..then i held back from sharing mine b/c i dont want to burden them anymore..i think most of us do this..but after i read my post. i think sound pretty childish. lol.
anyways, the point of all this; i really really like fph now, i feel like i can post my concerns/worries/rant as an anon..and since you dont know the most of the people, it wont be gaybah, or naminah inshaAllah..
thanks for reading.. *pays attention to what prof is saying* te heheh
