That kinda implies that we are an item- which we are definitely not. He got mad at me because we went to this lecture at the masjid where my dad showed up, and I didn't get a chance to introduce them. He went and met my dad, he's met my sisters, my mom kinda saw him once I think. I don't wanna meet his folks because I wanna get married to him or anything, he's just always talkin about how great she is, and how strong her iman is. I wanna meet a strong Muslim woman. Trust me, there are no steps to be taken within our relationship.

Me too, it`s awesome!!! Much easier to take it off the skin completly when you push it, and it actually removes all the hair, and doesn`t leave those hairy patches we hate

I use Proactiv and have been for several years. When I first started, people noticed a difference in my skin within 3 weeks. One of my friends hadn't seen me in 2 months, and she said that my skin had improved dramatically. I know some other people on Islamica have used Proactiv and their results differed from mine.
Doing all of the steps gets monotonous fast. I don't always use the toner and repairing lotion. The cleanser really dries out your skin - not extremely, but if you forget to moisturize, your skin becomes almost itchy (because its so dry). Anyway, I suggest you order their trial sizes and see how that works for you. If you have positive results then order the regular/larger sizes. The link below will take you to the section to order the trial size products.

I tried acnefree which is similar to proactive but supposedly a bit stronger. I personally didn't like it, all it did was dry out my face. I think it's benzoyl peroxide based so if your acne responds well to benzoyl peroxide then it should help.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
i use something my doc prescribed. Benzamycin.
it's basically 5% benzoyl peroxide + an antibiotic (erythromycin).
i like it, i think it works better than anything else i've tried. my acne is pretty mild though alh, and it only occurs on my forehead for the most part, i get like a pimple or two every 2 or 3 weeks. but this stuff totally works well. my bro has moderate acne, and it works well for him too. i don't think it dries my skin out too bad, but it could just be that i have oily skin in my t-zone (which is the only place i apply it). also, if you feel like you're just about to break out in a place, it stops that from happening.
it kills the acne on the skin responsible for breakouts (P. acnes) and it also exfoliates and clears pores.
you can ask your derm or doc what might work for you. i think different things work for different ppl b/c several variables cause acne, it's just a matter of finding out what triggers your breakouts.

...wow. that sounds familiar. no one told my brother or i..so the 6 hour drive home was somewhat reassuring in that i honestly thought those 6 grueling hours would result in being able to see my dad - we were told that my he was in the hospital and that the only reason we couldn't talk to him was cause they were operating on him. i dunno if keeping it from someone is necessarily a good thing, cause that moment of shock you get when you find out what REALLY happened..and realizing that everyone around you already knew...ya it's not.. a good feeling.
anyway khair inshallah i really hope your friend gets through this.. it sure sounds like she has a wonderful supportive community around her to be strong for her when she can't be on her own losing a parent is bad enough as it is, but losing one in the way she did..man..i can't even begin to imagine, it's making me cry just thinking about it..

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
mr. jellymill left for chicago . I was so sleepy and went to sleep after lunch...he didn't want to wake me up earlier so he woke me up right before leaving. I prayed Dhuhr late AND only got to see him for like 30 seconds before he left
