The only days I get my period right after I take out my BC (I have the nuva ring, it's awesome especially since i often forget to take the pills) is when I've used the ring for 4 weeks instead of 3. Otherwise it takes 2 or 3 days to get it.

a) im glad i read this cuz i forgot to take mine today
b) its normal. i take my last active pill on saturdays, and dont get my period until tuesday or wednesday usually. so youre good youll probably still be on your period when its time to start up the new pack.

will it stop as soon as i start the active pills again? this is so weird. i'm used to having a 7-day period, and it sounds like it's going to end up being like... 2 days.

First of all, are you pregnant? ...just kidding, don't hit me!

You're probably still adjusting. It should straighten out in a few weeks or it could take up to 3 months. Took my sister 2 months for hers to work

nope. itll keep going until your done. my period used to last 7 days, now its about 5, and only the first few days are an actual flow, the rest are just sorta spotty. i like it
then again i been on it over a year, it wasnt always like this. near the beginning id get a 5day steady flow period. youll be allllright no worries

Also comes in lemon mint. Both are wonderful

A bit pricey but it lasts awhile. You can find it at target or whole foods.
oh. i actually meant the brush/bristles that you use. i've been thinking about getting one (rumor has it brushing your skin is good for you immune system ), but um... well, mostly it's just laziness that's stopping me.

The husband finally got the GPS to work on his n95.. now he's taking walks around the block and using it to go to the masjid (we live ON TOP of the masjid)

me: <trying to cook while he gets in my way> "what's wrong, is your brain malfunctioning again? "
mr. jellymill: "i dont have one, duh! "

itll probably be a little delayed in stopping as well. what happened to heba is common, most people will notice its a little shorter and lighter. just take it every day like you should and your body will balance itself out. but dont expect instantaneous changes when going from active to placebo and vice versa. the sequence of hormone changes in the female cycle and the subsequent physical manifestations of those changes arent like flipping a light switch haha. but yeah, a delayed reaction of a few days is the norm going both ways.

thanks for clearing that up, everyone

i'm about to go hand in my resume and application at a trendy clothing store. i can't decide whether it would be better to dress in stylish (but not excessively so) clothes FROM that store or dress more formally... any ideas?

id say formal/ish. black pants type deal.
even though youre just handing out resumes, (a) they get a first impression, and (b) a lot of times people do interviews on the spot. so, be prepared in case.

so something soo funny happened this morning..and my coworkers and i cant stop laughing.
This lady walks in looking for one of my co-workers and he was in the library upstairs, so i told her exactly that. and she literally looks above her head all confused like she can't see him..and i'm like..(trying to control my laughter) he's on 'x' floor where the library is. it was just toooo funny. its like one of those incidents, you just can't forget.
