I have to exfoliate like every day to avoid ingrown hairs. It's no big deal though. I just bought one of those body brushes with the bristles and exfoliate that way. Just a few brushes and you're good to go. I also use this lotion called amlactin, which has lactic acid to exfoliate your skin at a deeper level. Alhamdulillah now I hardly get any.

I would say both, but I really just do it every day when I shower. I don't think once is enough because it takes time for the hair to grow in so if you exfoliate right after or right before just once, it won't do you much good. The skin needs to be exfoliated as the hair grows in, which takes time. I know it sounds like high maintenance, but it takes like a minute (just a couple of circular swipes is enough). I do it while my conditioner or leave in shampoo is in my hair. To make it enjoyable so I don't see it as burdensome, I bought this scrub from giovanni which smell soooo goood Plus, that's half your body already soaped down so all you gotta do is wash your upper body.

yeah i do the same thing as salika. i just exfoliate every day to prevent ingrown hair...plus its nice to have soft skin all the time i do it while ive got conditioner in my hair too and like she said, it only takes a minute.

ive got the emjoi epilator too, and i like it, i dont think it hurts that bad. you kinda get numb to the pain after a few min.

some one purchased an epilator from BB&B and included it on my registry. (Which, i clearly did NOT register for!). And at some point, it was the ONLY thing purchased on my registry. But I never got it.

But clearly someone was trying to send a strong hint.

Also, I had my fourth treatment of hair removal using the Lightsheer Laser. The hair definitely still grows but much slower and sparse. She lasers the unibrow and typically i'd thread every week to look human, but now I can g at least 3 weeks without touching the very fine hairs. alh alh.

@ zzze's "10 tubs of wax" and the girl with a bat in her bra..."it was rude to take it out"

Fooz, how expensive is getting just a mustache lasered? Does it feel uncomfortable? I've heard it can leave brown spots on some people forever

Salika: my legs for some reason are soooooo dry and itchy. Right after I get out of the shower after using a razor my legs itch like crazy! It's soooo annoying, I even rub straight up Vaseline petroleum jelly on them and they continue to itch for at least an hour. I'm afraid what constant repeated exfoliation will do to them...I guess I have super dry skin? (you're like the fph nutritionist and beauty expert now )

I can't wait til the end of this week when I'm not as busy inshallah. List of things to get: that epilator iA, an exfoliating thing and that Avon facial peel I told you about (salika).
