What shampoo do you guys use?
I use Mane 'n Tail Deep Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner. It was formulated by horse trainers to be used on horse hair (since horsehair is wayyy thicker than human hair and needs a lot of special attention) but can safely be used on human hair

i've been using it for months now and alhumdulillah i have noticed a BIG difference in my hair. less falls out and the hair i do have feels stronger and more moisturized. it's also less frizzy. i should add however, that my hair is both thick and long so it needs to be treated a certain way to make sure it doesn't get stringy.

and it smells like heaven

I also use this:

Yeah, umm... I dunno. Perverts are child-molestors and people into incest and bestiality. As in they're deviant.

Men looking at naked women doesn't seem all that perverted. It's just basic desire, I think, and even Islamically, it's recognized as such, no? Though, of course, Islamically, porn is not acceptable.

I think she meant perverted in the moral sense in that he spoke so openly about and candidly about something that's looked down in pretty much every society (no matter how underground and popular it may be).

not really. you can be a pervert and not be a pedophile. the two terms are not interchangeable. if we say someone who views pornography is a pervert and that perverts are pedophiles, that makes every red-blooded american male a pedophile.

pedophilia is a crime, incest and bestiality aren't necessarily crimes but they can be treated as such if the person gets caught. but all three are considered atypical sexual expression, or "deviant" behavior.

feeling sexual desire is natural, the mode of expressing that desire is what makes it moral/immoral or perverted/not

Yeah, but that's the thing... I don't think men wanting to look at naked women is unnatural. It's not something that's supposed to be done Islamically, but even, in Islam, sexual desire is definitely not considered unnatural. It only becomes sinful when it's misdirected.

Okay, khair... conversation for another thread.

hmmm...we might say that because we're socialized to think that it's natural for them to do that. i think we're in agreement about the rest.

speaking of hair removal, i'm about to go invest in one of these (Braun's Silk Epil Xpressive Epilator):

Just to clarify, as I used too many pronouns.... when I said "something that's looked down upon" I was referring to porn. In any case, looking at women is certainly an instinct, no one denies that. But the means of doing it can be seen as a perversion, in my opinion.

I love olive oil and it has so many health benefits. I also like eating lots of fat!

oh ok, I have the silk epil but it's a little bit different but it sounds a lot the same. They have good epilators.
