Anyway, I should probably say something about tampons round about now.

i miss the old islamica...this format is hella weird...

so tomorrow is my birthday....i'm getting old!! ....and i quit my job last week so as a going away gift my boss and co-workers got me a gift certificate to a nice spa in manhattan...i think i'm going for their package deal which is a facial, massage, and tibetan herbal body wrap....omg i'm so excited! never been to a spa before....i can't wait

besides that, central park to chill out and then maybe sushi/afghani/indian/thai later on... and then wednesday i start my new job no more goofing around after that... lol

wa salam

p.s. i miss the old islamica, for real ... well, the way it looked at least

Mossad: Who cares how great the wedding can be back home? Like, how fancy it can be and stuff? Obviously, you can get more for your dollar back home. It's all meaningless though if the wedding can't be attended by the people you really love and care about: your family and friends. That's what well-attended means to me, at least. I'd rather have 100 of the most important people at my wedding, rather than 500 virtual strangers. And that's what most of my family back home is to me really... virtual strangers. 'Cause they're like your second and third cousins and stuff... how well do you know them, really?

But if you're that set on it, then why not have a reception there and a reception here? Nikkah wherever.

Don't worry. It doesn't really hurt. You barely feel a thing. If you hate seeing blood, close your eyes or look away while it happens. It gets over pretty quickly.

assalamu alaykum

thanks

The doctor today was a twit. I was trying to tell her what's wrong with me and she replied, 'one thing at a time,' as in...i haven't been for five or so years so let's work through each friggin illness at a time. wth, i could be dead by then! Then I won't have anything to worry about, of course, but it could be prevented! Two weeks for a blood test, pssht
