As much as I don't agree with the aunties here, just going against the parents' wishes (yes, even if they are all grown-up) is easier said than done.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I'm watching "My First Home". It's about first-time buyers, and it just made me want to . The wife basically manipulated the husband into buying a home that was out of their budget because she wanted a huge house, and then in the end, the hubby says "I hope this proves to her how much I love her and how much I'm committed to her and the boys". :shudder: Oh, and the guy was a doctor, and the woman was a typical trophy wife.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I'll be on a plane in less than 24 hours.
I just got back from running all these errands and getting last minute stuff and I noticed I forgot to get the important stuff. ugh. I'll go back out later.
I hate packing.
I refuse to iron anything.
I just put bakhoor and full all over my hijabs
I always get anxious when traveling. I feel like throwing up.
To take my laptop, or not to take it... I don't think we'll have internet in our place anyways. I'll just hit up cafes. But I'm taking my wii. ha.
Back to getting stuff ready.

The_only_one: If this friend is very close to you, you should go. I'd be kind of heartbroken too if a close friend didnt come to my wedding/bridal shower because of something someone else said. And there's really no need to 'disobey' the parents. Work it out, talk to them about it and explain that something someone said about another really has nothing to do with you, and it wont affect you or your repp. Just talk to them about it. Offer that you wont stay too long or something. Good luck!
heba: sucks dude, feel better. And you can never look ugly
vanillawafer: Where're you going?
Ilikemyscarf: Feel better soon!

Yeah, it sucks. But maybe theyre going through something themselves too?
And if your 'friend' is shaking thier head because you screwed up, its because they care about you

Wow, alhamdulilah. That was long.
Did the family give in? and were the authorities involved? Will the family charge the kidnappers? can your cousin lead to them?

assalamu alaykum
bluey - alhamdulilah! :I hope he's ok.
the only one - that whole situation is ridiculous. Go the wedding, you're obliged to accept weddings and your mum should be going to.
mr.z is sunburnt from umrah lol.
Hope you're all well insha Allah.
