ok ladies, i need ur help. what is a good anniversary gift to send thru mail? all i can think of is gift cards or just money. but anything else that will be useful?

it depends who you're sending it to. a gift card or certificate.

man, what a loooong day.
comportment: contacts were one of the best decisions of my life. i dont think they 'desensitize' one's eyes (and i've worn them for 8 years now). when you're wearing them, you can poke yourself in the eye and it wont really hurt, but when you take the contacts out, your eyes are just as sensitive.

Somebody give me a verbal thrashing and a reality check! I have a 6 - 8 page paper due tomorrow and I only have about 1/2 a page so far. Uggghhh. And I cant stop texting/facebooking/islamica-ing. Usually I'm not this bad!!!

The best thing to do is turn off the computer, turn your back towards it, and try to ignore.......

Of course, if you're typing your paper online, then the above nullifies

disable the internet on your computer and completely turn off your phone. i will neg you for any posts i see after this warning.

Thank you guys

I've gotten about 5 pages so far...I've got 1 page or 300 words left to go, whichever comes first. Alhamdulillah. Bibliography and title page are already done thank God

Gotta be up at 7:30 to meet someone for breakfast at 8 am, then class at 10. Fajr's in less than an hour. Guess I won't be sleeping tonight....but it's my own fault for putting this off until the last minute

That won't interfere with wudu will it? What's a silk wrap?

if you go to a manicurist, they put a little piece of silk on the broken nail and harden it with some sort of polish. I think it'd normally interfere with wudu but I'm not someone who believes things that are done for comfort and not vanity are wrong.
