Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Mechanic called me, my car needs a new ignition switch. It's going to cost me ~$400. Alhamdulillah though, it could have been much worse. Electrical problems can be sooo expensive to repair.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
salaaamz ladies,
i'm going thru a realllllllly stressful time right now. everything is just so overwhelming - so if you could remember me in your du'as i would greatly appreciate it
oh, and i got a haircut that makes me look a troll. i hate it. i cried for 2 days. and i'm still crying.
(ok, i sound shallow. but with 2 kids, sleep deprivation, and a body that looks like the pillsbury dough boy's, my hair was the only hot thing i had going for me. and now it looks like crap. worse than crap.)

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Aww sona
It's storming here like crazy. I was out this morning and it started pouring on the way back but then I kept hearing THUD THUD, then I realized it was actually hailing! Subhanallah... I got out of my car and started to run to my building and I was getting pelted with ice. It was kind of cool, subhanallah again.

LOOOOVE that site. Before ever going to buy money on a product, go there! I'm sure we all have wasted money on some stupid product that left a lot to be desired. Ya, I wish I had known about this sooner but ya, just thought I'd share

Duaas and much love .
I feel your pain about the hair thing. I had pretty short hair and I got it cut recently and its really, really choppy and my bangs are extremely short (and annoying). Anyway, inshAllah in a couple of weeks, your hair will calm down. Sometimes experimenting with it helps. Maybe you'll find some new style that looks good on your already cute face, mA .

I guess I'll check out some eyeliners there! Thanks Salika .
Farah recommended this eye liner to me. It was really inexpensive, but so awesome. I got it from Walgreens, but they don't have it anymore . I ended up buying Revlon Colorstay and it sucks ass! I think I'm really allergic to something in it. Every time I wore it, my eyes watered and burned like crazy then they got really, really dry and red (blood shot)! I'd also start getting really bad headaches and then my nose would start dripping. This has happened every time that I have worn it (like yesterday). And the days I didn't wear it (like today), I'd be perfectly fine. I'm so trashing it, but I wish I could get my $8 back. Heh.

Well walgreens has a return policy on makeup if you're not satisfied. Once I didn't have my receipt (well, this was CVS for another product, but try it anyway) but it was within 30 days so I showed them my bank statement. They said they couldn't give me cash because the transaction was no longer in their system but they gave me store credit. I figure it's fine to have one from a pharm bc you're always stuff from there.
I really recommend almay. That's the only eyeliner I wear daily. Before it was the only thing that my contacts could tolerate (it's hypoallergenic) but even now after lasik I still use it. I've sadly strayed but I always come back to my beloved almay.

You got lasik? Wow mashallah. Did it fix your vision 100% or do you still need to wear low power glasses? I've been considering it but I heard for a lot of people it doesn't correct vision to the point where you can see without glasses.

Ya I did awhile ago alhamdulillah and I love it. I can see totally fine. In class sometimes the board is kiiiiiiinda sorta blurry and my eyes are still slightly dry but it's not bothersome and I usually don't even realize it.
The final results actually take up to 12 weeks but after the 4 weeks at most, things are normal and after the first week you're totally healed and stuff. Most people tell me that after a week they could see 20/20 and stuff and I kept hearing that it's totally then orm for things to be instant but when I went a doc for a follow up appointment he said that's not true and for some people it could take 3 months and he would wait 6 months at least before deciding whether I should do the surgery again (because if they under correct they can still fix, but if they overcorrect, you can't reverse that). If you're really interested, talk to your doc at least for a consultation.
My mom got it too and she loves it. I know several people who had it done and none of them wear glasses. Maybe those people you talked still had some time to go before they could see 20/20 (as I mentioned above)?
