yes there is a difference. vegan= no meat, including eggs!
that means no cookies, candy bars, etc cuz most of those have eggs. I have a friend who is vegan, its super hard for her.
I am only vegeterian, and simply because I just don't like eating meat.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Vegans also are against leather, fur, and other animal skin "made" goods. I bought some soap from Trader Joe's and it was labeled 100% vegan .

In all seriousness, make sure you get your essential fatty acids, especially since a lot of ppl get them from their meats. There are a lot of good vegan alternatives though.
I started taking EFA's and now my face is clearing up.
I didn't know a fat person could have a fatty acid deficiency

i googled and that's what it said.
Well, this peculiar acronym expression stands for "For the Win". It is an expression of enthusiasm. "FTW" is the same as saying "this is the best" or "this item makes a big difference, I recommend using it". Examples would include: "anti-lock braking, ftw!", "spellchecker, ftw!", and "low-carb diets, ftw!"
source: FTW: "What is 'FTW'? What Does It Mean?"

Umm, sorry for the tangent but it's worth it, but when you decide to go off, make sure you ask parents about the genetic tendencies of their acnes. Apparently my aunt had acne until early-mid 20s and my dad had it in his early 20s.

haha, okay then, fine.
i'll wait it out. but i will probably continue whining a lot until it starts working

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
i was looking around on my school's list of job postings and found something that looked AWESOME. a preschool near my college is in need of substitute teachers for the coming school year.
i was curious, so i did a google search for the preschool. and found out it's a Jewish community center preschool. i still might apply, but this could be awkward.
i also found a horrible review a parent had written about the school.
" This school is a mess. The lack of cleanliness and organization is apalling, as is the chronic rodent problem. The director is a loud-mouth with a penchant for cronyism. The staff vacillates between over-bearing and meek with little gray area in between.
My child's food allergies were not handled appropriately, as she was fed something that could have killed her on two separate occassions. We were not given any notice with regard to birthday parties in class and, therefore, could not provide a special treat for our own child. Due to these issues, sending her there was a risk we could not take and we pulled her out."
um.
i dont know if anyone here has heard of my fun times with mice in my dorm. AHHHH

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
afra, take the job. it's your fate, don't fight it. embrace your inner rodent.
in other news: you know how you have those nights where you're really restless, half awake, and half very weird dreams? Night before last I was like that, having nightmares about the cakeballs I'm making this weekend. Then yesterday I started reading a book set in japan during WWII. One of the storylines involves sumo wrestling.... so last night my nightmares involved cakeballs AND sumo wrestling. Fun times.
