sona. you are a wonderful mother. a wonderful wife. and a wonderful person overall. please don't blame this on yourself - health issues are health issues, and like others said, and your doctor..it's not something to be too worried about inshallah take care of yourself and be strong and inshallah you won't have to witness something like that ever again.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Sona, insha'allah she'll be alright. I know how hard it probably was, especially when I see my Sister with her kids, and if anything happens to them, she can't bear it. The mother-child bond is only understood by mothers and we'll never be able to understand it until we're mothers ourselves, but please don't blame this on your self. Insha'allah it wont happen again.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
May Allah (swt) grant her shifa and a long healthy life, iA. Ameen. Like others said febrile seizures are semi-common among children under 5 and 98% of the time they're harmless (Alh). I was just reading an article about febrile seizures in Discovery magazine the other day and it's very informative. It's from a peditrician's prespective on how common febrile seizures are, what causes them, what to do etc. It's a great read for parents because it soothes their fears and is in layman's terms. These kinds of things happen because Allah (swt) wills it, you have no control over it so don't blame yourself (your only goign to hinder your self confidence). Your a great mom and a wonderful wife. iA the worst is over. I'll continue to keep your family in my duas,
