i do wear hijab, and i just wore it normally. we didnt realize we'd be getting soaked, but alhamdulillah i was wearing a black hijab and non see thru clothes. i had the hijab tied normally...its not really that intense or anything where youd have to worry about doing it any special way or wearing any special kind. i just mentioned the clothing thing cuz one girl was wearing a really thin white cotton caftan-like shirt that became a little transparent when it got wet. good thing someone had an extra hoodie.
