I'm sorry. I'm getting confused. I do think this is earth shattering actually, to say that fruit and bread/pasta are bad for you. Good carbs are high in fiber and fiber is good 'cause it keeps you fuller longer (also lowers cholesterol and other cool stuff).
Are you talking about the glycemic index? Foods that are low on the glycemix index doesn't 'cause as much of a spike in blood sugar levels (insulin). These good carbs are fruits, vegetables, beans/legumes and whole-grain bread and pasta. Bad carbs are the refined and processed stuff: white bread, for example.
I'm seriously getting confused. I've never read anything before which says that fruit or whole-grain products are bad for you.

yeah every diet i look in to nowadays is pretty much the same regarding glycemic index, carbs, good fats, etc etc etc.

Well, that's good then. That's the part I was getting confused about, I think (but also Salika seemed to be claiming that it doesn't matter whether a carb is good or bad; they're all bad 'cause they raise your insulin, but that's not true... the good ones don't raise your blood sugar as much, and so it doesn't have a long way to drop back either).
But you know how you said you just do the first phase over and over again (the one with no fruit or even whole grains)? That sounds bad.

No one said they are bad for you. Like fooz said, it's just in the beginning. It's to sensitize your insulin again.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Okay, I'm honestly trying to understand this. Your blood sugar doesn't go super-high if you're eating fruit or whole-grains. So if you're not eating bad carbs (or you stop eating them), then you'll already have sensitive insulin (or you'll develop it).
Fooz: Is it? Most detox diets allow you to have fruit.
I'm concerned about re-starting 'cause then it means you never get to the phase you're supposed to be at (or aiming for, at least) and if you're at the first phase all the time, then you're not getting fruits/whole-grains. Which is crazy. If the whole time, you'd just been following the food guide and getting the fruits/whole-grains, you'd be healthier, no?
Alright, have fun at Jummah. Talk to you later, InshaAllah. This is interesting.

 I'm so bored at work.
And hungry though I just had lunch (okay, two hours ago and it was a really small one). I want a sub too. That's why I want to know about yours, Sumiyia.
