DramaRani, for the shower, can you just bring a fancy dupatta or something to wear as a shawl and dress it up? And also bring some big earrings and change your shoes?
I'm a South Beacher..when I am dieting. lol I'm currently on phase 1 right now. I actually really like how strict phase 1 is because sadly I don't do well with moderation so sometimes it's just easier to cut the foods out all together. It's phase 2 I have not mastered hence why I often return to phase 1.

Pretty much all of the recent diets are saying the same thing. I haven't really come across any popular gimmicks. They all tell you to cut out bad fats, refined carbs, eat more whole grains, vegetables, fruits etc blah blah. no oreos.

i don't like ikea either. aside from the cookie cutter-ness, the quality of the furniture isn't all that great. my walmart desk didn't fall apart as quickly as an ikea one would.

I eat about 540 calories minimum a day in essential fatty acids

I used to cut out as much fat as possible then I started to add them in and now my face is clearing and even my hirsutism disappeared

Isn't that "tangent" like 5 minutes away from your house? Mmmm. Every time I go there, I go to Pizza Roma .

See, I do well with moderation. I guess my problem is just that I don't cook. If I cooked, it would be easier for me to do P1 and stuff. When Maaria was living at home for that 1 yr, she cooked everything. She'd even make my lunch. LOL. I was spoiled. Now that she's gone, my mom doesn't play that crap. If its not Desi food, she's not making it. And its hard to eat Desi when you're on P1. I find P1 even more difficult when you're dawating etc.

I have issues with the no fruit on P1.

Yeah, it includes some slightly different principles so it might be worth checking out for that and the exercise plan, but it's not magic or anything. Nothing is *sigh*

If you are training for anything, Phase One is really hard because you need more carbs to fuel long runs etc. But for normal workouts, it's probably fine. I'm not really training for a race or anything now though, so maybe I'll try it again to jump-start things.........

Raped after mistaking stranger for hubby!
20 Jun 2008, 0335 hrs IST,TNN

NAGPUR: In a bizarre incident, a 20-year-old woman in a village around 9 kilometres away from Kalameshwar near here, initially mistook her rapist for her husband, and let him have intercourse with her, while her husband slept only a few feet away from her. However, realising her mistake, she soon raised an alarm, and her husband chased the miscreant, but he escaped into the night.

The couple later lodged a complaint with Kalameshwar police station, who then registered a case of rape against the miscreant, who remains untraced. Local police say that a search party has been sent to nab him.

The incident took place at around 10 pm on Tuesday, when both Savita and her husband 23-year-old Harish (both names changed) were asleep in their house. Harish was sleeping on a cot, while Savita was on the floor only a few feet away.

Sources say that the accused, identified as one Sanjay Khade (35), somehow broke open the locked door to the house, entered the room they were sleeping in, and lay down beside Savita. She apparently assumed that it was her husband, and let him continue his advances.

Soon after the imposter had finished his act the lady, felt that the person beside her was of a stockier build than her husband, and started shouting. Hearing her scream, Harish woke up and chased Khade, who was a resident of the same village. The accused fled into the night, and the couple lodged a complaint against him on Wednesday. Further investigation into the matter is under way, it is reported.

Why though?

I remember Heba was on a diet where she wasn't supposed to eat fruit either. It's weird; fruit is good for you. Just follow the food guide and get your fruits/veggies, whole grains and dairy (and some protein) and you'll be okay.

It's just to wean you off of sugars and undo insulin resistence.
