oh my. where did you find them? seem imported lol. types of cookies you find at desi or asian stores

And if it makes you guys feel better, I can eat next to nothing and still not lose weight. Changing my caloric intake, be it a little or lot, I still don't lose weight. It's super hard for me to lose weight but I did it and alhamdulillah I'm healthy anyway.

I got it from the library. It's a low-GI plan so not really anything new or earth-shattering, but has an emphasis on whole foods, cutting out junk etc. Your library probably has it so it's probably worth reading. |

A little different. I tried South Beach a few years ago, but I found Phase One very restrictive, especially since I work out a lot. Here's the website:

The book I got from the library was specific to women though.
DramaRani, for the shower, can you just bring a fancy dupatta or something to wear as a shawl and dress it up? And also bring some big earrings and change your shoes? |

DRAMA: you can buy a dress, wear it and return it..hehe 
you can try at marshalls, tj maxx or ross. usually they have dresses for reasonable prices.

Salika - would rubbing the skin really desensitize it that much?? Perhaps it depends on the area. I find it hurts a lot less if I do something else whilst waxing - like watching TV, then it's over in 15 mins and much less of an ordeal. Gate theory of pain control.
When you rub an area that is in pain (or about to be ), you stimulate the nerve fibers for touch at the same time as the pain fibers are firing.
