after all the acne treatments i've tried in the past, i'd been counting on the pill to be some wonder drug that would make it go away instantaneously. my skin was quite clear for about 5 days, until my dad told me to take an antibiotic at the same time to speed up the process. i wish i hadnt listened to him, because the next morning my skin broke out all OVER again. UGH.

im not even complaining about my appearance, i'm not particularly vain. i wouldnt mind all that much if it didnt HURT so much. ugh.

I was offered a job teaching summer school for five weeks. Flexible hours: 8:30 AM until 1:30 pm plus paid planning time. I had to turn it down . The school is approximately 40 miles away from my house (one way). I would be driving about 400 miles a week, which translates to about 2 gas fill ups. Anyway, I feel really sad . Plus, I'd be teaching about 2 to 3 students!

I had a similar experience with a medication a derm prescribed me. My once mild barely noticeable acne turned into a nightmare and it hasn't been the same since. But I learned that this experience is pretty much inevitable with any good treatment. You're probably not getting new pimples but rather what you have already is inflamming because your immune system is attacking them. That's why it's painful. I bought a product from Dr. Weil recently called plantidote serum which is supposed to help with inflammation. So far I like it. It's a bit pricey but very potent, easily last you months. Just hang in there, it'll subside, might take about 2 weeks.
