Re: Female Personal Hygiene
oh and im scared of waxing...i never got as far as ripping the thing off my legs and arms and i chickened out....i need someone else to do it for me i think. cause for some reason i cant pull it off me with that speed your supposed to. im plannin on trying it out for the first time (all the way, that is, hopefully inshallah!) after we move with a freind who knwos how to do it pretty good (ive been loyal to my razor and now, sally hansen's hair removing cream for a prettty loooong time!).

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
since we are on the topic of waxing, what are the best waxing strips out there?

I liked Veet the best. There were two kinds, one for sensitive skin and the normal one. I noticed the one for sensitive skin was not nearly as good. did you try nair?

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
if i wax, i usually use sally hansen. i've never tried veet or any other brand.
HijabiPrincezz: i usually get my sister to do my arms too because for some reason i can't pull it in the right direction, hehe. i think practice helps a lot because now i can do my legs pretty quickly. oh and mabrook on the house, mA!

I think I used the sensitive skin one..it came with a pre wax spray...it was so terrible...
instead of pulling out the hair, the green wax ended up on my skin. ouchhh
I've also tried nads, which is pretty good. I wish they had pre made strips.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I hate the first 3 days of aunt flo. I feel fat, gross and tired. There's literally a water balloon in my stomach right now. I don't want to get up or move around a lot, going to class today was heck. I just want to eat and drink loads and loads of orange juice, water, chocolate and peach yoplait yoghurt . Yes, I have weird cravings around that time.
