In other news my allergies have been feeling better (though my head still feels like there are marbles in there). Just when I thought I was away from the cornfields and pollen of hick-country springfield I smelled my neighbor's cigarette smoke. He sits in the enclosed area right outside the two apartment doors (one guys' one girls', we live above the masjid) and smokes. The stench is coming right into the living room and irritating my throat horribly. Last time I opened the door and asked him nicely to move elsewhere he started a conversation and I'm standing there trying not to cough and vomit because of the horrible smoke. AAAAAAARRRGGJLKASDJGLKAHJKGHAS!!!

i just used my neti pot. oh...my...God. i had so much nastiness lodged my sinuses and it took so long to come out with my neti pot that now i look like rudolph. despite my raw nose i feel much less stuffed up alhamdulillah.

i feel like chotoo who always says gross things

its called the Chi by a palestenian hair stylist called Farouk (he is also the creator of fusion hair products)..... i used it for the first time this past weekend. WOW

if your hair is super curly like mine, it will make it as straight as chinease/korean/vitnamese hair.... jsut AMAZING

ok i know this is super cheesy and gay, but i think its true and i actually really like this quote: "everything is OK in the end, if its not OK, then its not the end."

thanks ladies... i was just crazy exhausted and overworked and super stressed and had a really really bad day. it started out great but then all sorts of weird trolley and homeless people related things happened to me.... this homeless guy reeeeeally crossed the line and just got in my face while ON the trolley. and then he stood there and peed his pants right in front of me. and i was tired of having to get up at 4am to be able to get to work at 8. long story short, i'm back to driving instead of trolley. and alhamdulillah, i lucked out and found an awesome parking lot for $12/day... much cheaper than the $24/day
